Chad has a variety of creative, technical, and logistic strengths as a filmmaker, but his passion is with the camera. He learned the art of lighting at USC Cinema, where he earned his MFA. Early in his career, Chad became fascinated with how the moving camera is used in the language of film, and while still in college he began developing his skill with the Steadicam - a skill he enthusiastically continues using over a decade later. His expertise with the moving camera has become a particularly effective tool in capturing and enhancing the nuances of the hundreds of music performances he has shot in the past several years. Like Robyn, for the past few years, he has spent his time between projects devoted to producing and photographing "Circus Rosaire" , his first documentary feature.
